This St. Louis Hills area kitchen was redesigned in a mid-century modern style that’s more in tune with the era of the house. A soffit above the sink was removed to increase the size of the room and expand cabinet space. The wall behind the range was opened to transition into the breakfast room and bring in ample natural light. With careful planning, a small kitchen can become a big space.

Building Basement Potential

basement-after

From a clean slate to a comfortable lounge, this basement renovation turned an empty space into a family entertainment area and office. A polished concrete floor flows between the painted foundation’s rough texture and the drywall’s smooth finish to create an industrial yet sophisticated appearance. Walk down the steps of a suburban home into a contemporary downtown loft.

Maximize basement possibilities by incorporating several rooms. We built this full basement renovation with functionality in mind. The area was customized into an office, entertainment room, exercise room, and a laundry/storage room. Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring with an insulated cushion and walls painted with a vibrant accent color make this basement part of the living space.
